Flowers for us!

This thermal is called the morning glory - it was magnificent!
Alas our posts will be few and far between - little to no cell service in the park.

Almost to Boulder

Not in Kansas

Crazy storm...

The Rockies

Wow! So pretty - you can see forever...

Just around the bend

The elusive Rockies!

The plains

Rain! Lots of it... Still working our way to Boulder.

The marvels of irrigation

But only on the north side of the road.

Shiny silos

Playing state bingo

Biding time traversing grasslands...

In Colorado!

Can you find the mountain?

Lonely

Not much out here but cattle ranches...

Stacks

A little Monet in Nebraska..

More Dunes

The Grass covered dunes

More sandy hills -

Hay bales strewn

I like the landscape on the east side of the state better - the sand banks make think of the west side of Michigan.

Nebraska Sand Dunes

The Platte

Riding along the Platte on I80. It is very very flat here - big expanses sparsley populated. I see snatches of the river but the banks are heavily wooded - big oaks. We are in a rush to get to Boulder but I think I would rather go back roads next time - I want to see more of the Platte.

Foggy corn

Flat ... Very flat.
Got off to a late start this morning. Multiple phone malfunctions (or was it user?) - now hurtling across the plains at 75 listening to the WHO.
At some point I will get a decent cup of coffee... It's the little things that matter when faced by endless corn.

Kearney - Sandhill Crane Capital of the World

Nebraska + wire buffalo...

Better than the casino next door

Council bluffs

30 miles to Omaha

50 miles to Nebraska...

The princess sleeps...

Corn in Iowa

The mighty Mississippi

Wool woo - Iowa!

Children of the corn

Iowa...

Boring

We're packed away and bored of mariachi bands in Indiana.

Mmmmmmm pop tarts!

Still in Michigan...

Thanks for the fine reading, Aunt Kat!

Having so much fun learning about tea

Kalamazoom-zoom, we power on!

Ellie: Day 01

Ugh! Mom is making us listen to the history of tea... Lol, talk about #boring! Anywayyyyyyy.... I found a new game that my brother showed me called A Dark Room, it's a really basic game I think you all should look at. It's SUPER foggy where we are right now and can barely see far. Talk to you tomorrow!
